The Director’s Tea Party has been a long-lived BITSian tradition marking the end of a celebrated chapter in the graduates’ lives and the beginning of an unexplored and fascinating future.

Conducted for the graduating class each year, it is marked by an overwhelming exchanges of addresses between professors and students.

The aura of the event is an amalgamation of joy, nostalgia and the hopes for a bright future, which is witness exclusively by us being the host for this event. The nostalgia is evoked by speeches given by four graduating batch students, one of which is reserved for the coordinator of SARC.

In the recent years, we have also started with the Graduating Class Campaign (GCC), which is a fundraiser initiative involving the contribution of our trailblazing BITSian alumni, who have been successfully placed in some of the world’s top companies.

The campaign aims to allocate financial resources to the student run organizations on campus to accelerate their development and boost up their upcoming initiatives for the current academic year.

The team would further move on to focusing on presenting the idea Director's Tea Party with the necessary evidence and plan in order to establish a sense of trust among the next graduating batch that their money is being utilized efficiently with utmost transparency and benefiting the Institute.
